We take pride in offering new and innovative magic here in our FAB Studios. I challenge our staff to come up with new ideas and improve on old ones to make them more "user friendly". While our R & D department was busy working on other effects I came across a You-Tube video demonstrating Rope Through Body. The magician would stand in one place and pass a length of rope around their body and pull straight through seemingly passing through the performer's body. Nice..only problem is you can't use an audience volunteer - You can't pass the rope out for examination -and it is just a 'stunt' trick.....well all of that has changed ! Our new version is easy to use - unbelievably easy! Magician displays a ten foot length of rope and invites two volunteers from the audience to participate. The rope is placed around the waist of one volunteer while the other one holds one end of rope and magician holds the other. Just in case there is an accident - magician displays a sign that says MAGICIAN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURY and has the victim ...er...volunteer hold up high above their head - but now sign reads MAGICIAN N O T RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURY ! - A sure laugh from the audience but volunteer never sees what is coming - A 12" silk handkerchief is tied around the middle of the ropes in front of victim ..er...volunteer. At the count of 1-2-3 the rope is pulled straight through the volunteer's body with the silk still intact tied in front! The rope can then be passed out for examination along with silk! This is so ingenious...we have been working hard on this effect and now it is a complete routine that packs flat and plays BIG! Do it anywhere - anytime - Perform it on yourself! No special set up...resets almost instantly! You will marvel at it's sheer ingenious simplicity! The rope is NOT gimmicked but there is a very special something that makes it all work!
